Captain Stephen Brown is a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain (#1072963), TPWD Licensed Guide and the President of the Galveston Fishing Charters Association. He operates a 25' Shearwater powered by a 300hp Mercury with all the necessary Coast Guard approved safety equipment and electronics. This Shearwater boat is a very fisherman friendly boat that 1-4 people can fish with ease from. Half day trips (5-6 hours) or full day trips (8 hours) are always available. GALVESTON FISHING TRIPS
 Most Galveston Fishing Trips target speckled trout, redfish, flounder, sharks and other schooling species. Speckled trout is the most popular trips, but Capt. Steve can personalize any trip according to your fishing needs. Capt. Steve has spent countless hours over the years fishing and learning the entire Galveston Bay Complex, he has the ability to put you and your guest on fish. For all his trips, he suggest that you and your guest wear proper clothing for the weather conditions, bring some drinks and a few snacks, your favorite hat or baseball cap, sunglasses, camera, sunscreen and an ice chest. You will also need a Texas fishing license with a saltwater stamp. Capt. Steve Brown will also teach you about saltwater techniques, bait presentations and ways to improve your catch to bite ratio. So you not only get a chance to experience some great fishing on your charter, you also receive teachings from a professional Fishing Guide that will help you become a better fisherman. Steve's 25ft. Shearwater Center Console boat allows you and all your guest to receive a dry and very comfortable ride. This boat has plenty of room for up to 4 anglers to fish out of. Capt. Steve has top of the line electronic equipment including a new Garmin GPS, remote controlled trolling motor, a power pole and it is powered by a Mercury 300hp motor. It also has comfortable seating and plenty of storage space. This boat is perfect for fishing in and around all of the entire Galveston Bay System. |
